Visit Atwood

Rockford Park District's Atwood Park is open every day year-round from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and welcomes the public to visit for FREE self-guided hikes at the scenic 334-acre Seth B. Atwood Park.

Visitors can also view feeding time for the Birds of Prey every Saturday at 1:00 PM, as well as interact with volunteers of the facility’s award-winning Birds of Prey live exhibit, which offers up-close views of raptors, and one of the few accessible tree houses in Illinois.

Atwood Center is also open to the public every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
